Tiger was born on 2nd march 1990 in the house of Actor Jackie Shroff and his wife Ayesha Shroff (nee Dutt). He has three-years younger sister named Krishna Shroff. He has experience of Martial Arts, So he has frequently spent time helping actors for movies. Shroff is a devout Hindu devotee of lord Shiva . He holds a FAST every Monday and during every Mahashivaratri festival. He studied at the American school of Bombay. He was awarded with honorary fifth degree black belt in Taekwondo.

In June 2012, Shroff was signed by producer Sajid Nadiadwala to make his film debut in Sabbir Khan's action romantic comedy Heropanti, produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. In preparation for the role, he underwent flexibility training under Ziley Mawal. This film was released in 2014, Heropanti garnered unfavorable reaction from critics, it was emerged as s great minor commercial success with earning of Rs 726 million (US$10 million) world wide. His performance impressed the audience and got the positive reviews, with critics praising dancing skills and ability to perform onerous stunts, but criticised his acting and dialogue delivery.
In 2016, Shroff reteamed with Nadiadwala and Sabbir khan in the action thriller BAAGHI about a pair of rebellious lovers set against the backdrop of a martial arts school. the film, co-starring Shraddha Kapoor and Sudheer Babu, proved to be critical and commercial success with worldwide grossing of Rs 1.26 billion (US$18 million). Bollywood Hungama praised his action sequences, saying "The action Tiger performed without use of double body is delight to see".
In same year played a martial arts ordinary teacher who gains superpowers in Remo D'Souza's superhero film A Flying Jatt, alongside Jaqueline Fernandez. produced by Balaji Motion Pictures, the film received positive reviews but is was underperformed Box Office grossing Rs 520 million (US$7.3mollion) against the budget of Rs 450 million (US$7.3 million). In the following year, Shroff appeared opposite Niddhi Agarwal in Sabbir Khan's dance film Munna Michael (2017) the film and his performance got negative attention and film was a commercial disappointment grossing Rs 310 million (US$4.3 million) in India.
In 2018, Shroff starred in the action thriller Baaghi2, a sequel of Baaghi, though it is narrated a different story. and there were two new changes, the changes were Ahmed Khan as a director (replacing Sabbir Khan) and Disha Patani as female lead (replacing Sharadha Kapoor). It was produced once again by Nadiadwala Grandson Entrainment, in the film Shroff is shown as army officer. His performance and action sequences garnered him praise, this film was the top-grossing film of the year with gross of Rs 2.53 billion (US$35 million) at the box office.
In 2019 Tiger Shroff appeared in the punit malhotra's teen drama Student of the year2. It was his first mainstream romantic drama, which was produced by Karan Johar's Dharma production. In 2019 Tiger starred in Siddhartha Anand's action thriller WAR alongside Hritik Roshan. This film was the highest grossing Bollywood film of the year.
In 2020 he was Starred in the third instalment of Baaghi (film series) which was titled as Baaghi3. He reunited with shraddha Kapoor. This film of tiger was unperformed commercial because the theatres were shut down due to COVID- 19 Pandemic.
